The first MIC World Cafe of the semester was held on October 16. This is an event that the Global Education Center has been sponsoring from last year for our international students and Japanese students to get together and have fun. This time we made it a welcome party for 4 new members or our community, 2 faculty members specializing in philosophy and history, an exchange student from Sookmyung Women’s University and a freshman who joined the student body in the fall semester. Both of the faculty members are from the U.S. and the new students are from Republic of Korea.

The Q&A sessions after the self introductions of each new member of MIC were good opportunities to know more about each other.

Next World Cafe will be held on November 12. We hope we’ll have a lot of fun together!
