Fall semester started – Back to normal WITH CORONA

picture
On October 1st, MIC started the fall semester of 2020. All classes are now back to face-to-face instruction, but of course, with the maximum possible measures in place for prevention of the spreading of the virus. In the first three days, staff members checked the temperatures and recorded the attendance of every student. We are very happy to see students back on campus.
Students have their temperatures checked by College staff to make sure it is below 37.5 degrees Celcius before entering the campus. Everyone must wear masks at all times on campus. In addition, we put antiseptic solution at the entrance to every classroom and office, and in a variety of other locations in campus facilities.
As of October 12, 2020, the number of people infected with COVID19 in Miyazaki Prefecture has been zero for 26 consecutive days. It looks like the situation is pretty well under control here, but we will keep a vigilant eye on the situation for the safety of everybody on our campus.
