言葉は悪いが、俗に「人間が高等動物の頂点に立つ」と言われるゆえんは、前頭連合野の機能が高度に発達し、推理力・判断力・批判的思考力等を含めた、結晶性知能と流動性知能に優れている動物と考えられるからである。しかし、発達した前頭連合野でも、洗脳、マインドコントロール、あるいは催眠術（あるいはインターネット依存症）などによって機能を低下させることができる。洗脳によってこの部位の機能を低下させれば、推理・判断力を消失させ、殺戮させることも可能になるかも知れない。過去のある宗教組織による無差別殺人は、その例であろう。現代の情報化社会は、様々な伝達手段を使用することで、以前より容易に、広く、無差別にマインドコントロールできる背景を作り上げている。特に、社会的地位のある人や権力者は、組織的に、大衆をマインドコントールする武器を手中にしていると言える。
このマインドコントロールによって他国への侵略が繰り返されることは周知の事実である。戦争を仕掛けている国の国民や戦士の多くは、侵略や戦争を正当化するマインドコントロールを受けている可能性は高い。そして、世界は、そのようなマインドコントローラーを罰することさえできず、外から非難するだけである。マインドコントロールされた国民が、気づかない限り、侵略はいつまでも継続する。マインドコントロールされた国民を非難することはできない。なぜなら、自分が同じような立場でコントロールされた時、果たして逃れることができるか自信がないからである。今回のロシアのウクライナ侵攻は、過去のマインドコントロールによる戦争の繰り返しと同じである、ただ今回異なる点は、侵攻しなければならない理由がほとんど見当たらない点である。
時代の繰り返しとは言っても、昔と今は全く違う時代であることを世界中の人が考えなければならない。現代の国際社会は食料・エネルギー・情報・文化を相互に依存し合って共存する複合国家と見ることができる。環境問題、エネルギー問題、食料問題、経済・流通問題などは、国家間の取り決めのみで無く、世界での取り決めでバランスが取れていると言っても過言ではない。もし供給のバランスが崩れれば、需要のみが拡大し、これら上記の諸問題は解決できなくなる。環境破壊、地球温暖化は加速し、食料問題は大きな経済問題を引き起こし、貧富の国の格差、さらには国内での貧富の差は増大し、新たな紛争や暴動を引き起こす原因にもなる。今までの世界的秩序は崩壊して行き、異常な地球温暖化の加速は人類滅亡への道への引き金を引くかも知れない。
私が学長を務める宮崎国際大学は極めて小さな教育機関であるが、それでも15か国からの他国籍の学生や教員が集まっており、ダイバーシティー、ジェンダー問題他様々な異文化を理解し、お互いに尊重し合わなければ成り立たない組織である。あらゆる人種、あらゆる文化、あらゆる資源は、宇宙から見れば極めて小さな地球と言う社会の中に存在するもので、お互いに尊重し合い、お互いに共存しなければ、成り立つ訳が無い。
Mind Control and War
Forgive the expression, but the reason why humans are commonly referred to as “the top of higher animals” is that the frontal association cortex is highly developed and considered to be an animal with superior crystallized and fluid intelligence, including reasoning, judgment, and critical thinking skills. However, even a well-developed frontal association cortex can have its functional levels lowered by brainwashing, mind control, or hypnosis (or Internet addiction). By lowering the functions of this region through brainwashing, it may be possible to make reasoning and judgment abilities to be lost and may even be possible to make a person to kill others. Indiscriminate killings by religious organizations in the past are examples of such. The modern information society has created a context in which mind control is easier, more widespread, and more indiscriminate than ever before through the use of various means of communication. In particular, it can be said that people of social status and those in power have weapons in their hands to systematically control the minds of the masses.
It is a well-known fact that this mind control leads to repeated invasions of other countries. It is highly likely that many of the citizens and warriors of war-making nations are under mind control that justifies aggression and war. And the world cannot even punish such mind controllers, only condemning them from the outside. As long as the mind-controlled public is unaware, the aggression will continue indefinitely. We cannot condemn the mind-controlled people because we cannot be so sure if we would be able to escape from such mind control if we were in a similar position. The current invasion of Ukraine by Russia is the same as the past wars waged by mind control except that this time there is almost no reason to invade.
Even though we are talking about a repetition of the past, people around the world must consider that the past and the present are completely different times. The modern international community can be seen as a complex of nations that coexist in mutual dependence on each other for food, energy, information, and culture. It is no exaggeration to say that environmental problems, energy problems, food problems, and economic and distribution issues are balanced not only by agreements among nations, but also by global agreements. If the balance of supply is lost, only demand will grow, and these problems will become insoluble. Environmental destruction and global warming will accelerate, food problems will cause major economic problems, and the gap between rich and poor countries, and even between rich and poor within a country, will increase, causing new conflicts and riots. The existing global order will collapse, and the acceleration of abnormal global warming may trigger a path to the extinction of the human race.
Miyazaki International College, of which I am the president, is a very small educational institution, but it is still an organization with students and faculty from 15 different countries that must understand and respect diversity, gender issues, and various other cross-cultural differences. All races, cultures, and resources exist in a society called the Earth, which is extremely small from the perspective of the universe, and it is impossible for them to exist without mutual respect and coexistence.
